Comments: Expected more of a hard time after Sunday. Stopped a couple of times, but on the whole went well. Used ice after. Calf stretches on the stairs seem to be helping.

Comments: Focused on stretching (lightly) upfront during the warmup, and on running form. Went well. Hard to know if the shins are something I'm slowly working through, or whether I should be looking at other shoes or orthotics.

At the start of the year, I couldn't even think about going out for 3 runs on after the other, and was going through some pain during the day. Does that mean I'm getting through it if I don't have any effects after the run or the day after? Or is my lower mileage and slower pace just hiding the problem? Hard to know.

Comments: Tough at times. It's the first time I've ever felt dehydrated, and it wasn't a good feeling. Although there were some uncomfortable patches, shins held up well. No adverse effects at all the day after.
