Comments: Considering the last run (Thus) went really badly shins wise, I approached this run with kid gloves. I made sure my warm up got my heart rate going, then did some light stretching involving the shins and rocking on my heels/toes. Started very slow, I just did not want to go off too fast, feel the shins and the run be ruined. Pace naturally got a little quicker, but I made sure it was steady and I was well within my comfort zone. It was just what I needed following quite a low couple of days following Thursdays run. On to Tuesday we go...

Comments: This was not a comfortable run. I knew it wasn't going to be good a short time after the start, but you always hope it will get better. Not sure whether I didn't warm up enough, went off too fast, or still getting used to the heel wedge... Ice'd the shins after. Runs like this one are better forgotten.
